Cyrus Pick Up FIVE What Hi Fi 2009 Awards.
Cyrus won a world record FIVE awards at the 2009 What Hi Fi Awards. All three CD players were best in class, with the CD6 SE winning product of the year. This the second year in a row Cyrus has taken a clean sweep in the CD category. Our new XP amplifiers were also winners, with the 8XPd wining best in class, and the 6XP picking up Cyrus’s second product of the year award.

‘New XP range of amplifiers gives step change in performance’.
The new XP amplifier platform includes many features new to Cyrus amplifiers such as onboard DACs and multi-source / multi-zone features. However it is the adoption of the preamplifier from the DAC XP that is the key feature. The new preamp is a huge step up in performance in our 6 & 8 series models and together with expanded upgradeability our amplifiers now deliver far higher levels of performance than before. The most surprising model is the sub-thousand pound 6 XP. The fact that the performance is so remarkable for this price point is mainly due to the new preamplifier.
