How do I check what firmware version my product is using?
You can locate which version of firmware your product is running either by pressing the ‘i’ key on your products remote control, or use the menu system as per instructions in your user manual.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on support@cyrusaudio.com.
The 40 Series AMP & CD provide two options on the rear panel for upgrading the software version, and is controlled entirely via the menu and remote control. You can choose to use either of the following:
- USB-A Storage drive/key
- Ethernet (internet)
The 40 ST streamer will always be connected to your home network (internet) either via an ethernet cable or WiFi when turned on, so upgrades will run via the internet by default. This includes any upgrades to the BluOS platform.
Please read through the following instruction document to help you decide which update option works best for you.
