Discmaster

The Discmaster features a dynamically balanced disc pick-up mechanism with monolithic glass laser optics and a hall effect turntable motor.  This together with extensive use of locally regulated power supplies, applied closely to the processing ICs and star earthing techniques have enabled an order of magnitude lower error rate in the retrieved data.

With a high level balanced digital output, the Discmaster lends itself to professional applications. When partnered with the Dacmaster, this balanced digital signal feed ensures maximum noise immunity.  Through a special “COMMS” link the Discmaster synchronises itself to the extremely low jitter internal clock of the Discmaster in a SOFT-LOCK fashion, a new technique patented by Cyrus.
