Based upon the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, the 80 amp supports up to 192k/24-bit PCM and DSD256. Every component has been analysed by our engineering team and the board layout fully optimised to tune the DAC so that we can achieve the highest possible performance.

What the 80 Amp does better than almost any of them is to be purist hi-fi when you want it to be and a maid of all work when you don’t. There have been points during listening where I have felt it can trade blows with any of my favourite sub £10k analogue integrated amps before being able to do things that they need at least an extra box of electronics to do.
