“I simply did not expect a combined CD transport and DAC to be this good for the money. It delivered a confidently muscular performance with large servings of energy and tonal density, and crisp timing, combining the fine detail retrieval that the top ESS DAC chips are known for with a degree of expressive drive that is relatively uncommon when we consider alternatives DACs that sport the same core internals. We get impressive, almost forensic micro-dynamics and spatial cues, but accompanied by the kind of dynamic expression that tells our brain we are closer to the original as-recorded event. It’s looks cool and sports great build quality too.”

Running from Friday 23rd February to Sunday 25th February, the Bristol HiFi Show marks the beginning of a busy year of shows for Cyrus both in the UK and overseas.

The Bristol HiFi Show is organised and run by Audio T, one of our key retail partners in the UK, and always attracts a large number of HiFi fans from across the UK. This year’s show will also be the first time that Cyrus will be exhibiting Audio Physic loudspeakers after we became the UK distributor in 2023. We will have the beautiful Avanti floorstander loudspeakers from the Reference range on demo.

From Cyrus, you will get to see and hear our top of the range system, including a couple of different source options. Sitting on the top shelf of our Solidsteel demo rack will be the recently launched TTP Turntable for all you vinyl fans. Please don’t panic if you prefer streaming though, the Stream-XR will also be there, resulting in a mad selection of songs being played over the weekend

Playing a supporting, but very important role over the weekend will be the Pre-XR preamplifier and very clever PSU-XR external power supply. Last but definitely not least will be our new stereo amplifier, the Power-XR, which pushes out 110 watts per channel into 6 Ω. Connecting everything together will be cables from Atlas Cables.

Next year we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary, and we cannot wait to start celebrating, so much so that we have decided to start early on what will be a very busy year.

Say hello to the Cyrus Turntable!

Precision machined from solid aluminium blocks, the plinth and platter are extremely stable for superb vinyl playback capability, while the lightweight tonearm provides an excellent mounting point for your choice of cartridge. The DC synchronous motor has a custom-designed digital control circuit, ensuring very low wow and flutter with exceptional speed stability.

We will have the Turntable on demo for the first time at the Warsaw Audio Show from the 27-29 October, if you are lucky enough to be visiting, we highly recommend popping along for a listen. Don’t worry if you’re not going to Warsaw though, we have an extensive plan for exhibiting this new turntable over the coming months at major shows as well as local dealer events.

The Cyrus Turntable will retail in the UK for £4,295 and will be available for delivery to our dealer and distribution partners from the end of October.
