The CDt-XR shows that digital audio continues to evolve and that the Compact Disc has a lot to offer, is easy to use, and the music we buy really belongs to us.

The Cyrus CDt-XR is one of the clearest examples of the ‘less is more’ philosophy in audiophile HiFi.

The CDi XR is a CD player that manages to extract every bit of detail from all CDs. Not only is it technically perfect but also manages to incorporate a kind of analogue sophistication into the playback.

If you’re an audiophile looking for an optical disc player optimized for CD playback, the CDi-XR would be a fine choice.

If you’re looking for a top-quality CD player at this level, ignore the CDi-XR at your peril.

Very much like the i7-XR, the Cyrus CD player is focused on pace, timing, and getting from start to finish with some authority. It’s hard to recall any CD player that has crossed my path over the past 30 years that was as adept in those areas.

This very beautiful integrated amplifier symbolizes in its own way the progress which gives these solid-state models a previously unknown sonic enjoyment, to the exclusion of more ambitious class A models.

Cyrus has carefully and diligently taken their long running recipe and brought it right back into contention and the result comes Highly Recommended. 

What Cyrus has done here is very impressive because this is still unquestionably a Cyrus amp.
